I can’t believe we are in the month of July, this has certainly been a year. I had a wonderful experience teaching at the Academy of Appliqué, way back in the month of March. When I got home life got a bit crazy, as things can do when you have a parent who is getting older. The past few months I’ve been busy taking care of things with her
Now life is beginning to settle down and I can once again start working on what I love, applique.
I’ll be teaching at Baltimore on the Prarie in September. I’ll be teaching Susanna Culp Quilt be Brenda Papadakis, which is a reproduction of a quilt from 1848. So excited to teach that now that I have my finished quilt. I’ll also be teaching a Fraktur class
Then I’ve got 3 classes and a sampler at the International Quilt Show in Houston I’m so excited about that. These classes are up on the website for both venues. Check them out!!
My friend Michelle is here and we’re off on an adventure to Georgia. So looking forward to seeing some old friends and family. It will be nice to get out of Dodge for a bit
Been working on some new class projects. I’ll be teaching at the Academy again next year and I’m excited to share what I’ll be teaching there soon
Bless you all
Dena
