Baltimore On The Prairie
I had the privilege of teaching at the last Baltimore on the Prairie in its present form. The ladies that attended this event were so much fun to be with, to teach and to call friends.
I had so much fun teaching this year. I drove all the way from Houston to Nebraska City, my copilot was non other than my friend and fellow teacher Michelle. It was a great adventure. We even had lunch at Buc-ee’s which was definitely an adventure!!!
On our way to Lied Lodge, we stopped off at the international Quilt Museum where we were able to see the Baptist Sewing Circle quilt. It really is an exquisite and so happy we got the opportunity to see it
Then it was on to lied lodge and getting our rooms set up. Again it was the best time teaching the ladies in my classes I was sad to see them come to a close
Tresa Jones did a wonderful job running BOTP and I’m sad to see it finish, however, when a chapter ends a new one begins, and Baltimore on the Prarie; the Gathering will begin next year
My next adventure will be the International Quilt Festival in Houston Texas. I’m teaching 3 classes and a sampler. I’ve got an all day class on Monday and Saturday. A half day class and a sampler on Wednesday!! Looking forward to the ladies I’ll meet and the fun that lies ahead
