It’s Been Awhile

I keep promising myself I’m going to start sending out updates more often, however, life seems to happen. It’s been a long year with taking care of my mom If you are a caretaker, make sure you take care of yourself

Monday, sign ups start for the Academy of Appliqué!!! I’m so excited to be going back and teach there again in 2027!!

If you’ve never been, it takes place in Williamsburg, at the beautiful Kingsmill Resort

The classes are wonderful and it’s amazing how many wonderful friendships are made there

I’ll have designed four Baltimore Album blocks. One block of the students choosing is worked on in class, however, the techniques are the same in all four blocks

The other class I’ll be teaching is a Broderie Perse class called Michelle’s Bouquet.

I’ve also got a class coming up in New Braunfels, Texas, near San Antonio. I’ll be teaching at Intrepid Thread!! I’m so very excited. It’s a two day class a woven basket with a bouquet of broderie perse flowers. The class is September 18-19.

I’ve been working on a few new class designs and I’ll share those next time.
